Sales & Dispatch

Documentation for sales and dispatch teams — everyone who takes a request from first contact through a flown, released leg. This track follows the record chain the OS is built around: RFQ → quote → trip → leg → release.

Each job maps to a shipped OS console surface (/os). How-to links point at stable URLs; where the write-up has not landed yet, that is where it will live.

Sales jobs

• Start your day — the sales My Day view: what needs you first.
• Triage the RFQ inbox — pick up inbound requests and route them.
• Work the quotes pipeline and approvals — move quotes through the pipeline and clear the approval queue.
• Manage accounts — customer accounts and the Account 360 view.
• Track follow-ups and win/loss — chase open quotes and record why deals were won or lost.

Dispatch jobs

• Build a trip from a quote — turn an accepted quote into a trip and its legs.
• Work a trip in the Trip Workspace — find your way around a trip's tabs, from overview to close-out.
• Add and edit legs — create a leg on the dispatch board and let flight time fill itself in.
• Assign crew and aircraft to legs — the dispatch board and assignment flow.
• Track crew acknowledgment — see who hasn't confirmed their assignment yet, and nudge them.
• Swap a tail on a leg or a trip — replace an aircraft when the assigned tail can't fly it.
• Check trip readiness — the gate columns that say whether a trip is ready to fly.
• Issue the flight release and handover — the release register and shift handover log.
• Run Day of Ops and flight following — the Day of Ops board, the Airport Board, and live flight following.
• Handle diversions and conflicts — the diversion console, conflicts, and exceptions queues.
• Close out a trip and settle the invoice — reconcile quoted vs actual once every leg is flown, and mint the adjustment.
• Source subcharter when you are short — outbound subcharter and the inbound subcharter inbox.
