Track crew acknowledgment
See who hasn't confirmed their assignment yet, and nudge them before it becomes a problem.
Assigning a crew member to a leg doesn't mean they've seen it. The Crew Ack panel on the dispatch board shows every assignment still unacknowledged, grouped by how close it is to departure.
- Open Dispatch and look at the crew rail's Crew Ack / Unacknowledged panel.
- Read the buckets from most to least urgent: < 2h to ETD, < 12h to ETD, < 24h to ETD, and > 24h to ETD. A row in the closest-to-departure bucket is the one to act on first.
- Select Re-nudge on a row to re-send the assignment notice — a push notification and an email fallback. The server rate-limits repeats, so re-nudging the same row twice in a row returns a "just nudged" message instead of spamming the crew member.
- If a crew member has declined instead of just not answering, the row shows the decline and a Reassign action, which narrows the crew rail to legal replacements for that specific leg so you can fix it from the same screen.
A nudge's outcome is recorded honestly, not assumed: a push either sent to a real device, found no device on file, or failed; an email either queued for delivery or was skipped because the crew member has no email on file. Neither is ever recorded as "delivered" — the panel only shows what it can actually prove happened.
Assigning the crew in the first place is covered in Assign crew and aircraft to legs.
