Set your pricing policy and approval floor

Set the price floor rule: below it, a quote is held for a named approver instead of going out unchecked.

Steps

1. Go to Pricing Policy (in the Accounting & Tax section of the console sidebar).
2. Turn on "Require approval for below-floor quotes." With this off (the default), quotes send at whatever price a rep sets — nothing changes from today's behavior until you opt in.
3. Set your trigger tolerance. This is the percentage below a tail's floor rate that's still allowed through without approval — 0% means any below-floor price triggers the gate.
4. Choose who can approve. Pick the roles allowed to sign off on a below-floor quote. If you leave this empty, it falls back to operator_admin and flight_ops_manager — but the picker is enforced, so only the roles you actually select (or that default) can approve, reject, or return a below-floor quote.
5. Save. Only the section you changed is written — the other policy sections on this page (repositioning, availability, payable total) are untouched by this save.
6. See it work. A below-floor quote now shows a breach badge in the Quotes pipeline and can't be sent until one of your chosen approvers signs off — it's never silently sent below floor.
