Invite members and assign roles
Add teammates by email invite, grant them a role, and manage pending invites.
Add the people on your team to Obsidian Jet, and control what each of them can see and do with a role.
Steps
- Go to Admin → Invites. This is the app-level invite flow — it emails a tokenized, one-time link to any address (work or personal), valid 7 days. The person you invite signs in with their own identity; the address they sign in with doesn't have to match the address you invited.
- Send an invite. Enter the teammate's email and choose their role, then send. You can also paste a list of addresses to invite several people at once with the same role.
- Choose the right role. The canonical roles are
operator_admin,dispatcher,pilot,owner,broker,affiliate, andmaintenance.maintenanceis additive — it grants the maintenance surfaces without handing out fulloperator_adminaccess. Giveoperator_adminonly to people who should manage billing, integrations, and other admins. - Track pending invites. The Invites tab lists every invite you've sent and its status. From here you can resend a link or revoke an invite that hasn't been accepted yet.
- Manage existing members. Go to Admin → Users & Roles to see everyone already on your tenant and grant or revoke roles on an existing member — this is separate from the invite flow, which is only for people who aren't on the tenant yet.
If invites fail with an "identity provider is not configured" error, Logto isn't wired up on this deployment yet — that's a platform-side configuration gap, not something you can fix from this screen.
